Welcome! I am a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Economics at Florida International University.
I will be on the 2027–2028 academic job market for positions beginning in August 2028.
I am an applied microeconomist. My research focuses on development economics with a particular interest in policy evaluation, education and inequality.
My job market paper examines the effect of losing a cash transfer on educational and labor outcomes, as well as its impact on the division of labor in Ecuador. I am also studying the effect of receiving unconditional cash transfers on migration and family formation and the effect of elderly pensions on human capital.
I have taught Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Measurement and Analysis of Economic Activity, Urban Economics, and Introduction to Econometrics.
